This handlebar clamp allows for a narrow rise that was previously impossible with anything other than riser handlebars, thanks to a clamp width approximately 50mm narrower than the stock handlebar clamp. The clamp width is 80mm, meaning the straight section in the center of the handlebar only needs to be 80mm. By making the base a single piece and increasing rigidity, it can handle the concentrated rotational force caused by the narrower width. It can be installed on 39mm top bridges without rubber mount recesses (as used on Sportsters from '04 onwards) with the headlight visor still attached. (However, the meter and indicator will need to be relocated.) All necessary bolts, nuts, spacers, etc., for installation are included.
